TK Ramakrishnan Memorial Library and Research Centre, functions at the first floor of Block 1, has been designed to suit the requirements of researchers and students.

This library has been named after the former Minister of Culture,T.K.Ramakrishnan, who was a great orator, organiser and critic.  He was the master mind behind the establishment of such a cultural complex like MPCC in the capital city of Kerala. One of the highlights of the complex is its extensive collection of books that explores all areas. It meets the requirements of research students and connoisseurs to learn more about our culture and art forms.

The 11000 sqft research and documentation block is spread over three floors. The ground floor hosts the office and library of Kerala Coucil for Historical Research. The first floor consists of a dormitory with 20 beds for visiting artists.
