Aksharaslokas are rightly described as the remains of oral traditions and rich cultural heritage of poetry. Aksharaslokasadassu is conducted monthly on every third Friday through the cooperation of Aksharasloga Sabhas (Groups) scattered throughout Kerala. Young generation gets acquainted with the exquisite oral tradition and poetic culture of Kerala. This acquaintance paves the way for the conservation of a rich heritage which may disappear into the abyss of oblivion.
